Logo causes controversy

The logo for the London Olympics has caused epileptic fits in as many as 22 people who viewed the video produced by a london based agency 'Live'. Live have been paid a fee to produce the film and have had to immediately with draw it as the 2012 committee announced an investigation. Epilepsy Action said that the amount of people affected by the film is unprecedented. Broadcasting watchdog Ofcom said it was investigating several complaints that the TV channels had breached its guidelines.

Ken Livingstone, Mayer of London, has expressed his displeasure with the logo and said he felt the comapany should not be paid for the work estimated at around £400,000. Lord Coe has said that he feels the logo is 'edgy' and 'flexible'. The London Olympic Games Organising Committee or Logoc, said that changing the logo was not an option and they would consult Epilepsy Action before reissuing the film.
