Bid for Stock Exchange
Nasdaq International, the part of the New York Stock Exchange that tries to encourage foreign companies to list on it, has said it will possibly up its bid to take over the London Stock Exchange. Its president said that it would consider raising further its 1243p a share offer if it can get the recommendation of the LSE board. Bob Greifield, Nasdaq's chief executive, is expected to take his case direct to LSE shareholders. |
